Abstract

Abstract. The Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia has caused a negative impact that greatly affects various aspects of human life. One aspect that is significantly affected is education. Schools in many countries are closed to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 Virus. That^s why Minister Nadiem Makarim decided to continue the implementation of distance learning or online learning. However, with the implementation of distance learning again, it seems that it has an impact on students. Where students begin to experience boredom in the learning process and even result in learning loss. Therefore, the researcher intends to provide a solution to these problems through the development of teaching materials as a learning method. The solution proposed by the researcher is to develop the treffinger creative learning model teaching material with the RME Principle with a case study on the spatial abilities of students in three-dimensional material as an alternative to learning during the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of developing the treffinger creative learning model with the RME Principle on the spatial abilities of students in three-dimensional material during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which is a research and development design, namely research methods used to produce creative and innovative learning models by testing the effectiveness of learning models through the development of treffinger creative learning model teaching materials with RME principles during the Covid pandemic-19. The result of the research is that learning mathematics through the development of teaching materials using the treffinger creative learning model with the RME Principle is very effective on students^ thinking skills in developing their spatial abilities. So that by designing teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheet with a syntax that has been combined between the two models, it is very repr
