Abstract
Practicing vocals to sing well requires musical accompaniment support and tools to evaluate. This article aims to investigate using the Song Maker application in vocal training and evaluate its quality. A qualitative approach is used to describe each process in its implementation. This process consists of six stages, consisting of (1) installing the Song Maker application, (2) creating a new project, (3) inputting musical accompaniment, (4) recording vocals, (5) combining vocals and musical accompaniment, and ( 6) evaluate the quality of the recording. The results show that users can listen to the quality of their singing accompanied by music through the Song Maker application. Users can delete and re-record with better vocal quality. Thus, the Song Maker application can help in training to improve the quality of singing based on evaluations from users themselves or the judgment of others.
