Simulation of Postal Package Distribution Optimization using Artificial Bee Colony

Abstract

This article discusses the artificial bee colony algorithm in optimizing the distribution of the postal package in the Purwakarta district. Optimization of postal package distribution can be formulated as a traveling salesman problem. An artificial bee colony is an algorithm that can be used to solve traveling salesman problems. Determination of the optimal solution is done by simulation using MATLAB. The initial value, which is generated randomly, is required in the simulation process. The simulation results show that the convergence of the optimal solution is influenced by the initial value.
