Abstract

Module is one of the teaching materials that can be used in the learning process. Chemistry triangle can help student to understand concepts in chemistry. The chemistry triangle-oriented chemical bonding module has been tested for validity and practicality. However, it has not been tested for effectiveness on students learning outcomes. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of chemistry triangle-oriented chemical bonding module to enhance students learning outcomes. This research is a quasi experiment research, non equivalent control group design. The results of this study showed that the difference in the pretest-posttest value of the class using module (63,27) and the class learning without module (54,18). The results of the effectiveness test showed that the module has a high effectiveness on the learning outcomes of students with an N-gain value of 0.79.
