Abstract

Habits of mind or habits in thinking are thinking behaviors that are used to respond to questions and problems, especially in dealing with students^ mathematical problems. There are 16 thinking habits, which aim to help students get used to behaving intelligently. Quantum Teaching Hypnoteaching (QTH) learning is a learning model that can increase students^ potential and motivation, so that the QTH model is considered to be able to form students^ intelligent thinking habits.
This study involved 2 classes with a total of 60 students, the first class was given mathematics learning with the QTH model and the second class with the ordinary model, at the end of the learning students were given questionnaire which has 40 habits of mind (HOM) questions with five Likert scales, and then the questionnaire was analyzed by descriptive. As a result, the QTH class students gave a medium HOM namely 3,464, better than the ordinary class students with a low HOM namely 2.66. Based on observations, QTH class students during learning activities looked more enthusiastic than ordinary class students.
