Systems Thinking on Renewable Energy: A Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract

Renewable energy is an integral part of the sustainable development process by involving economic, environmental, and other influential factors. It takes a holistic approach to analyze each other^s relationships. This study aims to reveal the analysis of the results of systems thinking research related to renewable energy using the Scopus database for the last five years (2016-2020). The research method used bibliometric analysis of the PRISMA model. The results show (1) the most productive authors in systems thinking on renewable energy research, (2) the most influential individual works, and (3) the most robust area and the periodic progression of system thinking on renewable energy research. This study concludes the research map of systems thinking on renewable energy that can be used as a reference for further research.
