Abstract

The Cipularang Toll Road is a public infrastructure in Purwakarta Regency, which important facility that supports the economic growth in West Java Province. The wetness of the soil condition can cause a disaster such as landslides is one problem on this toll road. The value of wetness variations is quite difficult to classify. Our goal in this study is to understand our data better and determine high and low soil wetness based on soil moisture classification. Determination using the high-frequency method of soil moisture is expected to show areas with high intensity and indicate areas with fewer intensity levels of wetness. Four simulations have been done with picked random data. The result suggests that the Very high-frequency (VHF) method has succeeded in detecting the area with high moisture conditions. The soil wetness distribution can give benefit for further interest such as detection potential of the hazard area.
