Concept mastery data were analyzed by paired sample t-test, while student motivation data were analyzed by descriptive statistics by calculating the mean and standard deviation and then categorized using a stanfive formula table categorization. The result shows that there is a significant increase in students^ conceptual mastery after being given treatment in the form of applying the CTLE approach, while students^ learning motivation based on the results of the analysis of observation sheets during learning is in the good category.
