Abstract

This study aims to analyze students^ Science Process Skills (SPS) of physics education student in basic physics practicum. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Science process skills includes 11 indicators such as observing, grouping, interpreting, predicting, communicating data, formulating hypotheses, planning experiments, using tools or materials, experimenting, asking questions, and applying concepts. This research instrument uses a non-test instrument includes student observation sheets. The data analysis result revealed that the students^ science process skills obtained an average percentage score of 80,68% which is in good category. Thus, it can be seen that students^ science process skills appears during the practicum activity, which means that physics pre-service teachers of Syiah Kuala University can do all science process skills indicators.
