Abstract

Abstract. Abstract. Students^ scientific reasoning in studying the human organ systems is expected to be able to answer students^ problems in their daily lives, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to measure students^ understanding and reasoning after studying about human organ systems in everyday life, especially associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. Data collection in this study was carried out on 48 students of class XI who had received learning material on various organ systems in humans. Based on the results of students^ answers to the 13 questions submitted, in general it shows that students^ scientific reasoning about the relationship between the human organ system and problems related to Covid-19 during this pandemic are mostly good, however, there are some of the students who are still has a low understanding level, which are 5% and 10.4%. This study provides recommendations so that in learning human organ systems, teachers should look for ways of learning that are more effective in improving students^ understanding and reasoning regarding problems during the Covid-19 pandemic.
