Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) is one of the 21st century life skills that students must have. To equip students with computational thinking skills, an effective learning strategy is needed. One of the alternative learning strategies in the implementation of CT is game based learning. This study uses a systematic literature review analysis method. Searching using the keyword ^Computational Thinking^ using publish or perish software, obtained 950 literatures published in 2018 to 2022. From the results of the analysis of CT components in the title and abstract using bibliometric analysis, further research opportunities can be obtained by linking the keywords Computational thinking, game based learning, and student achievement in developing 21st century life skills. Analysis results from the literature review showed that game based learning is an interesting and fun strategy to improve CT skills for students.
