Abstract

21st century students are expected to have the ability to reason mathematically and the ability to think with clear scientific ideas so that later they are able to analyze and solve a problem in the most effective way. This ability is commonly known as computational thinking ability. Reinforced by the results of preliminary studies through classroom observations using questionnaires and interviews with physics subject teachers, it was found that learning did not train computational thinking skills. Based on these problems, researchers want to develop a learning media in the form of teaching materials that train computational thinking skills which is abbreviated as Cothema. The research method used in this research is RnD with ADDIE design. Based on validation by experts and limited testing, Cothema^s teaching materials are significantly valid and suitable to be used to improve computational thinking skills
