Abstract

Abstract. This study aims for (1). Utilizing the potential of Tahura KGPAA Mangkunagoro I as a contextual learning resource in the form of learning media- (2). Testing the feasibility of media in the biological learning of biodiversity materials- (3). Knowing students^ response to biological learning media of biodiversity materials. This research is a type of research development (research and development). The development model used in this study is ADDIE by (Branch, 2009) which consists of stages (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. This research was conducted in SMAN 5, 6 and 7 Surakarta and SMAN 2 Sukoharjo as a research subject for the development of learning media that is used as a contextual learning source for biodiversity materials. The media feasibility testing phase is carried out by materials experts, learning media experts, and biology teachers as practitioners. The instruments used in this study used learning media feasibility questionnaire instruments. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage analysis. Student response questionnaires are used to determine students^ responses to the biodiversity learning media developed. This research has produced an android-based learning medium in the form of: Morning Pterydophyta for the subject of plant diversity- Moss Android Mobile Learning for moss plant diversity subjects- Fungi Mobile Learning for the subject of mushroom diversity and Spermatophyte Mobile Learning for the subject of spermatophyte plant diversity. The learning media developed utilizes the local potential of Tahura KGPAA Mangkunagoro I in the form of biodiversity in the location. The learning media developed is declared feasible by validators, while students^ response to learning media generally states that the media is good and can help students to more easily study plant diversity materials.

Keywords: learning media- plant diversity- spermatophyta- pteridophyta- moss- fungi
