Abstract
Students difficulties in learning mathematics are still often found, especially in the concept of algebraic operations, these difficulties being one of the factors of learning obstacles. The learning obstacle is seen from the aspect of ontogenic obstacle, epistemological obstacle, didactical obstacle. Therefore, it is important to conduct a study that examines learning barriers to the concept of algebraic operations in order to minimize student errors in the concept of algebraic operations. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection technique used a systematic literature review (structured article review). Based on the results of research obtained from 25 journals, that students experience ontogenic obstacles, epistemological obstacles, and didactical obstacles in the concept of algebraic operations, especially in subtraction, multiplication and division, as shown in the table from the results of a systematic literature review.
