Abstract
This research aims to produce student worksheets through PMRI approach a valid and practical using traditional dance to improve students^problem solving ability. The subject were IX.3 student of Junior High School 1 Palembang. This study was design research of development study in which had two stages: the preliminary and formative evaluation. The formative evaluation includes self-evaluation, one-to-one, and expert review, small group and field test. The data were collected through a walkthrough, interview, and test. The context is South Sumatera^s traditional dance. The result of the analysis show that the problems which were reviewed by three expert review by focus group disscusion are valid- it is also practical and easy to understand the problem. Beside that show that student^s worksheet was effective to increase the problem solving ability of students. It appears that students can analyzing situations problem and illustrating results
