Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the numeracy literacy ability of students at SMP Al-Washliyah 10 Meranti in solving numeracy literacy problems. The method used in this study is qualitative research. The subjects in the study were students of class VIII SMP Al-Washliyah 10 Meranti with a total of 27 students. The question instrument used in this study is in the form of 3 questions that refer to indicators of students^ numeracy literacy ability. The data analysis technique carried out is to assess the results of student answers and determine the criteria for the percentage of errors made by students. The data were analyzed based on the cognitive level of numeracy literacy, namely understanding, application and reasoning. Data collection was carried out using a valid numeracy literacy AKM test instrument. The results of this study show that students^ numeracy literacy ability belongs to the moderate category, which can be seen from the percentage of mistakes made by students in each indicator.
