Abstract
Formative assessment provides to support teaching and learning in the classroom. Think-Pair-Share is a formative assessment strategy engages the entire classroom and provides continuous feedback to both teacher and student. Feedback is an essential part, which leads to learning gains. Buffer solution material consists of learning theory, concepts, and experiments in the laboratory, its potential for implementing formative assessment with think-pair-share method. This study aims to obtain an overview formative assessment with think- pair-share method and feedback in chemistry. This study used a literature study with a literature review approach. Based on the literature study, the paper systematically elaborates for formative assessment with think- pair-share method and feedback which includes concepts, methods, processes, and tools. Hope in the future formative assessment with think-pair-share method and feedback be a useful learning for teachers especially in chemistry learning.
