Abstract

The concept of Ohm^s law is a basic concept in studying electricity. Ohm^s law states the relationship between current, resistance, and voltage. The purpose of this study is to provide a literature review on the use of Ohm^s law in various fields. The articles reviewed were based on search results from the Scopus database with the keyword ^Ohm^s Law^. There are 238 articles that discuss Ohm^s law by limiting the categories: article type, 2018-2023 and in English. The selected final reference is after filtering by title, keyword, and abstract as well as the entire article. The final references were selected as many as 15 articles. After managing the database, this study examines the use of Ohm^s law in various fields. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: 1) the use of Ohm^s law was applied to Magnetohydrodynamics (3 articles), thermal conduction in fluids in the form of gases or plasma (9 articles), calculation of capillarity at roots (1 article), and used to formulate a new chemical conductivity equation (1 article) as well as a new equation for porous (1 article). Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the most use of Ohm^s law is in the thermal conduction of fluids. 2) Broadly speaking, the 15 articles have something in common, namely, they both study the use of Ohm^s law on fluid objects, whether in the form of gases, liquids, or plasma.
