Abstract
Green education as one of the alternatives to promote environmental sutinability through ESD. Green education can be interpreted as an effort to form knowledge, self-awareness, and behavioral changes that care about the environment and make the environment a source of learning. Currently green education has been widely used as a school curriculum in dealing with global issues such as extreme climate change. Research on green education needs to see the trend whether green education can affect change in the behavior of students so that they care more about their environment as part of the application of sustainable education. The result show that trend of green education in school on research it show still very limited research. Green behavior can be effectively shaped through a green education curriculum that suits the needs of the profession that wants to be connected to the understanding of sustainability.
