Attitudes to Moral Decision-making in Youth Sport: Analysis based on Gender Syarifatunnisa, Amung Ma^mun*, Nuryadi, Anira

Abstract
Sport is a media that can develop various aspects of each individual actively involved in it, including moral development. The purpose of this study is to describe how the attitude of youth in decision-making in sports. This study involved 179 samples (female = 51- male = 128) aged 13-17 years. The survey was carried out using an online platform (google form). The Attitudes to Moral Decision-making in Youth Sport Questionnaire (AMDYSQ) instrument was used in this study. The results showed that adolescents^ attitudes to moral decision-making were in the high category (mean = 3.9). Mann-Whitney test was used to analyze the differences between males and females. The result showed that there was no difference based on gender (female = 97.87- male = 86.86) with Z -1.284 and p = .199. Test results on the domicile of residence are also further explored. The results of this study indicate that the impact of youth participation in sports activities can develop moral aspects when carrying out sports activities. This value transfer process outside of sports activities needs to be studied further.
