SPORTS DEVELOPMENT POLICY IN SUKABUMI CITY Muhamad Alfiana

Abstract
The quality of good sports cannot be separated from the role of the government in making policies and programs for sports. Sports development that is appropriate and touches all levels of society is one aspect of important consideration in every step of regional development in the field of sports. With good quality sports in a community environment, it is expected to improve the quality of life of the community both nationally and regionally. The purpose of this study is to determine how the local government of Sukabumi City manages sports development policies to improve the quality of good organization in sports. This research was conducted at the local government office of Sukabumi City, especially the Office of Youth, Sports and Tourism. The method used in this research was qualitative method by conducting interviews and documents related to the field under study. From the results of the research, it was found that the local government of Sukabumi City has made a sports development policy with a community sports priority program that is adjusted to Law No. 11 of 2022 concerning Sports.
