Abstract

Learning media that is developed with the right learning model could help students better in comprehending the subject. Less effective learning models, improper equipment and media, student^s enthusiasm are the background of this research. This research is a development research that aims to: (1) Produce e-module as interactive learning multimedia with discovery learning models in printing graphic design subjects to improve students^ cognitive skills. (2) Knowing the feasibility of e-module as interactive learning multimedia with discovery learning models to improve students cognitive skills. This research uses a ADDIE as a development method with stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this research indicate that: (1) E-module as interactive learning multimedia is stated good and feasible to use with a percentage value of 90.8% including ^Very Good^ category by media experts. (2) E-Module as interactive multimedia can improve students^ cognitive ability with an average gain value 0.61 with the effectiveness criteria ^Medium^. (3) Students responses to the use of E-module as interactive learning multimedia shows a percentage value 96.2% with the category ^Very Good^.
