Abstract
SarsCov2 for Covid-19 provides challenges to education in Indonesia. School activity that was originally face to face, has to be replaced by virtual class for all subject include math. Virtual class is more challenging than offline class. Different personality types affect the way they communicate, learn, and understand in virtual class. The objective of this study is to analyze the mathematical communication skills of student in virtual class during the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of guardian and idealist personality types based on David Keirsey^s personality dimension. The subject of this study consisted two junior high school student in Grobogan, Central Java. The sample was taken by purposive sampling. The triangulation techniques was used to collect the data by comparing the result of test about mathematical communication skill and the result of online interview. The result of this study showed that student with guardian personality has better mathematical communication skill than idealist personality in this Covid-19 pandemic.
