Question from Dr. Muhammad Haris Effendi-Hasibuan
2020.07.15 08:09:46

Question to: Validity and Effectiveness of the Electronic Argument-driven Student Worksheet to Promote Students^ Argumentation Skills in the Concepts of Chemistry Bonding
Authors: Muhammad Haris Effendi-Hasibuan, Abu Bakar

Question:
Ms. Dini Wulandari Thanks for the question. ADDIE and ADI are different. ADDIE is one of developmental design models which is normally used in a R&D research. ADDIE consists of steps of Analyse, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation. These steps are particularly used to develop a learning media such as student worksheet (LKPD), multimedia learning such as video, animation, etc. Some people also used ADDIE to develop Instructional Design as well. On the other hand, ADI (Argument-driven Inquiry) is a learning model that consisted of some learning steps. ADI has been profen effective in enhancing students^ argumentation skills. Look at the results of these publications: Sampson & Gleim, 2006- Sampson and Gleim 2009 Sampson, V. et al. (2009). Sampson, V. et al. 2011. Sampson, et al., 2012). Thank you for your attention Best Regards

Question to: IDENTIFICATION OF CRITICAL THINKING : SUKU (SUPIK AND KULUB) ON ELECTRICITY MATERIAL IN JAMBI PROVINCE
Authors: D Hendriyani (1*), P Siahaan(2), A Samsudin (2)

Question:
Thank you very much for the question sir. Previously, it should be noted that the instrument used in this study was the adoption of a previous study, the research conducted by Syarkowi 2014. Based on the instrument structure that has been made, I can see that instrument makers determine the competency standards, basic competencies, and indicators of critical thinking. Furthermore, it is developed into a sub-critical thinking skill, learning indicators, and question indicators made. In addition, Multple choice question must also be adjusted to the writing conventions of the material and construction aspects. At a glance, it seems that instruments with multiple choice questions are not appropriate to be used in assessing critical thinking, because it is feared that students will only answer randomly. But please note that multiple choice questions are included with essay questions which are the reasons why students choose answers. So that researchers can judge, students answer according to knowledge that thinks critically or just as long as answering multiple choice questions. Thank you sir.
