Abstract
COVID-19 pandemic is a multidimensional problem for the world of education, including in Indonesia. A solution is needed to create full online-based science learning that can be accessed by anyone at any time in the current pandemic. RADEC (Read - Answer - Discuss - Explain - Create) model is an alternative that can be applied to create effective learning. This study aims to formulate RADEC learning model with full online learning mode in natural science instruction. This research belongs to the type of qualitative description with the participants involved consisting of 20 students and 5 teachers taken based on purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were a questionnaire and unstructured interviews that were processed with triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that 1) At the Read stage the teacher provides opportunities for students to enrich knowledge from various sources through Google Classroom, 2) At the Answer stage, students answer pre-learning questions based on the knowledge gained in the steps Read through Google Classroom platform, 3) At the Discuss stage, the teacher selects material that will be used as discussion material on the Zoom Cloud Meeting or Google Meeting platform, 4) At the Explain stage, the teacher acts as a moderator of the discussion and provides material reinforcement so that students have a conceptual knowledge that is coherently related to science materials, and 5) In the Create stage, the platform used is Google Classroom where students who work in groups are asked to upload the progress of the projects they are working on.
