Abstract
The purpose of this study is to obtain the scientific information about systems thinking abilities and problem solving of students after ESD was integrated into Biology. The experimental method with the one-group pretest-posttest design was used for this study. Twenty-nine students were selected by purposive sampling in grade X Public High School I Bandung. Data was collected through instruments written tests. All research data were tested by using n-gain, normality, homogeneity and paired sample t-test through SPSS 25. Based on the result of paired sample t-test showed that implementation of ESD into Biology learning increased significant in the ability to think systematically and problem solve students (sig<0,05). Based on the result of tes students abilities’ system thinking and problem solving obtained N-Gain score 0,298 (low category) and 0,409 (medium category). While the posttest scores of students’system thinking and problem solving showed an average of 80,03 and 79,03.
