Global warming topic towards junior high school students^ environtmental awareness

Abstract

As we already know that the biggest issue that is faced by us is global warming. School-based education plays an important role in improving the attitude and knowledge of students, and it has been pointed out that the potential effectiveness of education is higher when students have knowledge and a positive attitude toward global warming issues. With the questionnaire distributed virtually which cosistst of 28 statements and total 428 students of junior high school from all grade involved,it leads to the aims of this study which is to analyze how the issue of global warming affect the nvirontmental awarness of the students at junior high school level across all grades. After the process of analysis,there were difference result for the awareness for the conceptual of the environmental issue, the pratice of solving the enivrontmental issue, and higher degree comitment for the environtmental issue. The finding of this study could be visualization of the condition of our students towrads the environtmental issue especially global warming issue
