Abstract
Active participation in the learning process can have a positive effect on building students^ academic achievement. This study aims to look at students^ awareness and knowledge of space science. This study used descriptive research design. The respondents of this study include 30 items (knowledge variable) and a total of 206 students for levels of space science awareness variable. The instrument is composed of two parts. The results showed that the post data mean score related to students^ level of awareness and knowledge of space science was higher than the pre-data. Implications of the study show that the integration of space outreach activity program activities can increase secondary students^ awareness and knowledge of space science subjects. In the future, researchers can consider increasing the number of questionnaire items on student awareness levels, as well as involving the same respondents to identify whether student awareness has a significant relationship with the students^ knowledge of space science
