Question from Mr. Yosep Dwi Kristanto

Thanks for sharing your research on the effect of distance learning on students^
achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. I appreciate your methods in achieving
the research objective, even though it can^t explain on whether the students in both
groups came with similar mathematics ability.
Next, I have a question regarding your conclusion. In your video, you stated that
there is a difference between control and experimental groups on students^ learning
result. But, in your abstract, you stated that ^students who used distance learning had
better results than groups who used conventional direct methods^. Are the notion
^difference^ and ^better^ have the same meaning?
Thank you.

Hi Mr. Yosep Dwi Kristanto
thank you for asking me this good question.
Thank you for the question
The purpose of this research is find out which method is better between the
class using the distance learning method during the COVID-19 pandemic and
the class using the conventional direct method.
here are two words namely ^difference^ with ^better^
the difference with the better is different, the better it means there is a
difference but the difference is not necessarily better
in this research before I test the significance of the difference between the two
samples. I tested the mean, maximum and minimum. the goal I want to show
the reader the form of the hypothesis
Ho = experimental class results = control class results
Ha = experimental class results> control class results
and the result Ha accepted
I^m sorry for not explaining in detail about this. Thank you in advance
I hope this information is useful. Once again, thank you
