Dear Ms. Yeni
I want to ask, how is this spesific treatment in the learning to improve students^ critical thinking skills? Can all materials of the reproductive system use this learning? or only in certain parts of the material? Thank you
Replies:
Thank you to Ms. Almira Ivana for the question
PBL-integrated blended learning is a combination of the blended learning model with
the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The stages of learning in the experimental
class were online learning - face to face learning - online learning. The
implementation of PBL-integrated blended learning to the learning of biology in the
lesson of the human reproductive system is carried out through a combination of
online and face-to-face learning. Online learning using a web-based e-learning
application and face-to-face learning use PBL syntax with a problem-solving
approach on student discussion sheets (LDS) through group discussions. Online
learning conducted before face-to-face learning and the availability of e-learning
provides flexibility for students to get information about the knowledge they need in
face-to-face learning.
All materials of the human reproductive system can use PBL-integrated blended
learning
Thank you to Mr. Ahmad Ahyani for the question
This happened because PBL-integrated blended learning requires students to be
active in solving existing problems around them, especially related to problems in
the lesson of the human reproductive system. PBL-integrated blended learning
utilizes the internet as a current technology and information. Students can become
more independent and active in learning using a web-based e-learning application
that has been provided by the teacher. Thus, learning activities supported by internet
can improve students^ critical thinking skills
