Question & Answer to the Presentation

Question from Ms. Neng Rini Anggraeni

Dear Ms. Putri Giriyanti

I think your research is very interesting. I want to ask about the practicum
activities that should be carried out, what kind of tools are used in the diffusion
and osmosis practices? thank you..

Thanks for your question Ms. Neng Rini

The tools on practical activities was needed through the trials without change tools, materials, and procedures contained in the student worksheets.
There are some tools that used including beaker glass, knife/cutter, pinset, pipette/volume pipette, stirring rod, osmometer, blood lancet, digital scale, microscope, object glass, cover glass, and stationary.

Hope it can answer your question,

Question from Ms. Ivo Novidsa

Through this opportunity I want to ask you. Based on your findings, what are the
basic characteristics of the different osmosis and diffusion practicum activities in
the three curriculums that you examined? thank you

Thanks for the question Ms Ivo

There are three aspects that used in this research including the essence of content (conceptual), practical activities, and knowledge construction. Based on the analyzed of that aspects, the basic characteristics in Standard based curriculum (KBK) was dominant on conceptual, while for Education Unit Level and 2013 curriculum was dominated by knowledge construction.

Thank you,

Dear Ms. Putri

I appreciate your research idea. I would like to ask you. What is your problems did
you get when you develop the diffusion and osmosis practicum activities ?

Did you ever implement your tools to students ? What is your problems did you get
when you implement the diffusion and osmosis practicum activities to students ?

Thank you.

Thanks Ms Pisca for your appreciate to my research.

I will explain about my research first. My research is to describe the development of activities design on diffusion and osmosis based on student worksheets along with curriculum progresses. Based on this research results, there are some implication which is reconstruct the student worksheet.

This is related with your question, and I will answer about the problem first. I have found some problems on my activities design reconstruction which are tools, ingredients, and sequence of activity. I must reconstruct them from the earlier worksheets. So I think that the process of re-design needs time.

And the next question, I didn^t implement it yet. I have some difficult to do this research by face to face in this situation. I also can^t do online/virtual learning because the tools is totally new, I do need some feedback from students that can^t conducted in that learning. So I cant answer it yet. Maybe next time when I do the next research.

Hope it can answer your question,

Question from Mr. Chandra Daniel Sinurat

Dear Ms. Putri. i have watched your presentation about your research and i want to ask you about the the considerations that you made to choose ^diffusion and osmosis^ as the subject. Have you made a preliminary study before which found diffusion and osmosis is the most difficult subject for practical? thank you

Thanks for your question Mr Chandra

Yaa I have. The study shows that they are still confused about the different process on diffusion and osmosis.

Hope it can answer your question,
