Hi Ms. Yovika Sukma,
thank you for asking me this good question.
As we know that mathematical resilience is an affective domain of learning
goals. So, in order to assess students^ mathematical resilience, we need an
instrument for measuring it. According to theory and its implementation, the
proper instrument that can be used to assess students^ mathematical resilience
is questionnaire scale. This scale consist of several indicators that build
mathematical resilience. For example, the finding of this study tell us about 7
indicators that build mathematical resilience. Then, we can formulate several
statements based on the 7 indicators and use likert scale (with given score 1 to
4) to help us to work quantitatively. Lastly, using the descriptive statistics we
can analyze the data using hypothetic mean to determine the classification of
resilience level and then interpret the condition about students^ mathematical
resilience ability. I think that^s all i can explain to answer you question.
Hopefully, it is an useful information. Once again, thank you.
Best regard,
Yohannes.
