Thanks for your question Ms Tanti Listiani
REACT strategy is strategies that are specifically related to mathematics learning
and are the result of developing contextual learning models. Michael L. Crawford
was the first person to develop this strategy in the United States. The Center of
Occupational Research (CORD) in America outlines the REACT strategy that
must be seen, namely Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and
Transferring. The REACT strategy refers to constructivism. In the learning
process students are not only limited to memorizing a fact, but also students are
required to be active, able to explain, and communicate learning concepts.
The material that match with this strategy are volume of cubes and cuboids,
shards and mathematics learning material in high class
in this pandemic situation, we can apply this strategy with video conference.
relating activities can be done by providing learning videos or questions at the
beginning to stimulate students. in experiencing activities students discover for
themselves the concepts they have learned at the beginning of learning, then
students apply by answering questions or working on student worksheets
cooperating through whatsapp, zoom, or other media groups. Then students do
transferring activities by making a video presentation of the results of the
discussion.
