Thanks for sharing your study about a case in which mathematics teaching and
learning address the pandemic crisis by e-learning.
From the study, you found some obstacles in conducting e-learning, such as internet
quality and the lack of students^ understanding when they attend video conferencing.
All those obstacles related to the synchronous environment. Can you propose some
ideas on when (and why) the synchronous learning environment can be implemented
effectively?
Lastly, at the end of your presentation, you conclude that the teacher should creative
in conducting e-learning. Can you specify what^s meant by creative?
Thank you.

Thank you for the question Mr. Yosep Dwi Kristanto
It is very true that internet connection is one of the obstacles when doing online
learning, these obstacles occur when the internet connection is not stable so
students do not get full information about learning. Unstable internet
connections especially occur during video conferencing.
The proposal for a synchronous learning environment can be implemented
effectively so far due to the condition of students doing learning at home with
different signal conditions and internet connections, this is something that
cannot be predicted when obstacles occur and cannot be forced to stabilize
immediately. But it can be anticipated by recording learning activities during the
video conference via zoom. Then share the results of the recording with the
student whatsapp group. So students who have problems when video
conferencing get full information from the results of the recording during
learning through video conferencing.
Creative in this case is creating new things in learning mathematics through
online. Because online learning is new and different from face-to-face learning,
teachers need to adapt online mathematics learning so students can understand
the material easily and not saturate.
So that teachers also need to do some learning methods that are appropriate to
online and mastered and can apply platforms, interesting media and can be
understood by students. Some platforms and applications that can be used are:
google classroom, google form, quiziz, x-mind, virtual board and others.
