Abstract
The right tools with a scientific approach to identifying talent in sports will rapidly identify talent in competitive sports. This enables maximum success and sustained performance in competitive sports such as sepak takraw. In this field, research is mainly based on classifying effective parameters in talent identification or norm determination in top athletes. The main objective of this research is to identify talents from each specialization like Tekong, Smash and Feeder in the sport of takraw, which are differentiated based on primary weighting derived from an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) based on anthropometric, biomechanical, physiological, technical and psychological aspects. By building an intelligent AHP model, it was found that the selected parameters include height and leg length (anthropometric aspects). Lower extremity strength and flexibility (biomechanical aspects), commitment and confidence (psychological aspects), aerobic and anaerobic strength (physiological aspects), deep kicks and headers (defence technical aspects). This reliable model helps identify talents from each specialization in the sport of takraw, especially for the younger generation.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the coaching and training patterns of swimming athletes at Arhesa Swimming Club Bandung. The research method used is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The subject of this research includes management and coaches. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of this study are that achievement development has been carried out in a planned and programmed manner, the state of the organization has not gone well because it has not referred to Statutes of the Household Budget, facilities and infrastructure are still very limited. Athletes^ achievements so far were participating in the West Java and sporting event in 2022. The study shows that the condition of the club organization is not going well and the management system has not been reorganized regularly. The organization^s work program is not clearly structured because there is no support for facilities and infrastructure due to limited funds. So that in general the implementation of the achievement coaching program carried out a systematic, regular, continuous, planned and programmed with maximum reference to technical training. The existing trainers are of good quality, but the number of trainers is not commensurate with the number of athletes. The number of training facilities and infrastructure is still limited and does not meet Indonesian Swimming Association standards, but the achievements that have been obtained are quite encouraging at the local and regional levels. It is suggested that Arhesa Swimming Club Bandung should improve and develop the organizational system and the pattern of coaching in order to obtain the highest achievements. It is necessary to take an overall coaching step for athletes so that they continue to train continuously, and look for alternative funds or sponsors to add training equipment so that the activeness of athletes in training increases.

POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPEMENT IN MARTIAL ARTS ACTIVITIES Muhammad Nur Alif, Tatang Muhtar, Herman Subarjah
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
Abstract
Several literatures provide indications on the results of his research that martial arts activities can have a positive effect on the development of adolescents. However, martial arts activities that have been running still do not reveal programs that lead to positive youth development. Apart from that, there is still uncertainty regarding the martial arts training program which is still focused solely on achieving achievements. This study reveals the contribution or role of martial arts activities by providing an overview, and explaining the results of the latest research on martial arts activities for positive adolescent development. Literature data collection techniques were taken using a systematic computer search consisting of several journal articles and dissertations, as well as the results of searching data manually. Several articles were eliminated which were then focused on the 17 articles used in this study. The results show that martial arts activities have had a major impact on positive adolescent development in recent years. The main topics in several research results in general are about prosocial behavior, antisocial behavior, aggression and resilience. There is strong agreement among researchers about the potential of martial arts activities for positive adolescent development. In addition, the discussion in several studies shows clearly that the main influence in martial arts activities is closely related to how the trainers make a strong contribution in providing understanding and also the teaching style used in martial arts activities.

Abstract
Abstract
Positive youth development is a strength-based approach in which life skills are recognized as desirable assets that prepare youth to function as productive members of society. In many countries, increasing attention is paid to teaching life skills through sports. Still, researchers have warned of the dangers of believing unthinkingly about the virtues of sport participation. This research offers a brief commentary on the challenges and opportunities in promoting positive youth development and life skills amidst the increasing professionalization of youth sports. In the first part of this article, a case is made for tempering our expectations about the intrinsic developmental value of sport and instead focusing on youth issues for life skills and experiential learning opportunities. In the second part of this article, coach education and the professionalization of youth sports are examined as contemporary challenges in terms of the dilemmas they create and the opportunities they present.

Parents and Baseball Coaches Physical Literacy Perceptions for Young Athletes Development : Implication for Training Contextstract Gano Sumarno (a*), Wildan Alfia Nugroho(a), Mesa Rahmi Stephani(a), Ricky Wibowo(a)
Jl. Dr. Setiabudhi No. 229 Bandung, Indonesia
Abstract
Even though there is little and conflicting research on the advantages of young children and youth participating in sports, these programs are frequently targeted at this group. Given the known benefits and drawbacks of Baseball participation among older children and youth, it is necessary to investigate the particular advantages, risks, and experiences of children and youth participating in sports. This research may help parents and coaches make decisions about their children^s sport participation and have implications for their development throughout their lives. In this exploratory study, the opinions of parents (n = 15), coaches (n = 8), and kids (n = 15) between the ages of 7-17 were studied concerning the experiences and results of young athlete participation. Individual semi-structured interviews with participants yielded themes linked to (a) physical activity and energy management, (b) learning physical literacy and sports skills, (c) comprehending success and failure, (d) developing social skills, (e) acquiring life skills, and (f) preparing for school. Findings reveal a significant variance in participants^ experiences and perceived results, partly related to children^s age, program duration, sport type, and concurrent participation in other programs (e.g., music, academic, and non-academic). It was not common for children to participate in sports. Despite parents^ occasionally exaggerated expectations, favourable developmental outcomes were more often the result of specific, interrelated contextual circumstances than just children^s attendance. Further study is necessary since the good effects of athletics on older children and teens should only sometimes be extrapolated to the population of young athletes.
