Abstract
The rationalization of updating the curriculum is an effort to prepare students for learning experiences compatible with real life needs and all their progress. At the same time, the achievement of updating the curriculum is also greatly influenced by teachers^ readiness for conceptual understanding and methodology in its application to development. Life skills are one of the 21st-century education curriculum issues integrated into various disciplines. The diagnosis results underline that the teacher^s understanding of the comprehensive concept of life skills is essential to help him organize, integrate, and develop practical life skills for his students. This study aims to explore the perspective of teachers teaching life skills in physical education using a qualitative phenomenological design. Participants were three elementary school physical education teachers who had graduated from the driving teacher program and had implemented the Independent Curriculum in their learning practices. Participant perspective data is explored using nine open questions, starting from conception, usefulness, problems, constraints, and teacher solutions in teaching life skills. The results of the participant perspective (interviews) were analyzed using seven thematic procedures (thematic analysis). The research findings imply that teachers already have a good concept of life skills and have integrated life skills into physical education, such as analytical and critical thinking, communication, and simple product development. Teacher integration efforts are carried out through a differentiated learning model that accommodates the learning needs of students with a diagnostic assessment. Teachers experience several obstacles, including collaboration and time management with various cultural backgrounds from students. The teaching of life skills from the concept of the Independent Curriculum has been well.

Abstract
Positive Youth Development (PYD) in the context of physical education is an approach that prioritizes youth empowerment through physical activities and sports. It aims to develop skills, attitudes, and values that are essential for the holistic growth of youth in physical, mental, social, and emotional aspects. Physical education, as an integral part of the school curriculum, plays an important role in facilitating PYD. Through physical activities that are intervened through intentionally structured 5Cs and 7Cs programs, such as sports, games, and outdoor activities, youth can acquire motor skills, knowledge about health and fitness, and social skills needed in interacting with others. In the context of physical education, the PYD approach emphasizes positive experiences, collaborative learning, and active participation by students. Physical education teachers have a key role in creating an environment that supports the positive growth of youth through inclusive approaches, varied teaching, and providing constructive feedback. To achieve comprehensive physical education goals, the integration of PYD concepts is important. By addressing the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of youth, physical education can be a vehicle for building character, enhancing interpersonal skills, and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Abstract
Life skills are basically a personal skill or ability that develops certain skills, attitudes, and values that can be facilitated and developed to become provisions for facing life in the future (Noor, 2015 : 2). Extracurricular is an activity carried out by students outside school hours. This activity aims to be able to develop the personality values, talents, and abilities of students in various fields outside the academic field. These extracurricular activities themselves can be in the form of sports or non - sports activities which have a positive aim for the progress of the students themselves. By participating in these activities, a person can not only develop their personality, they can also develop the talents and interests they have. Both of these activities can contribute to the cultivation and development of students^ life skills (Budiman et al., 2020 : Budiman & Rusmana, 2020). However, until now no empirical data has been found regarding the extent of the contribution of sports and non - sports extracurricular activities in the development of life skills. For this reason, further research is needed regarding life skills in extracurricular activities at school. This study aims to analyze the comparison of the level of life skills of sports and non - sports extracurricular students at senior high schools in Sumedang. This study uses an incidental sampling technique, in which anyone who meets the researcher by chance can be used as a sample if it is deemed that the person met by chance is suitable as a data source. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method. The research instrument used was the Life Skills Scala for Sport (LSSS) questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was descriptive statistics with data processing using Statistical Product for Social Science (SPSS) version 26. The results of this study found a comparative value of the level of life skills in the group of students who took part in sports extracurriculars to get 72%, while the group who took part in extracurricular non - sports gained 68%. Then the percentage data for each of the 8 life skills components are generated, namely the cooperation component 13%, goal setting 15%, time management 13%, leadership 11%, emotional skills 15%, social skills 20%, and problem solving and decision making components 13%. Then from the results of the data that has been obtained it can be concluded that the sports extracurricular group has a better level of life skills than the non - sports extracurricular group. And the component that dominates each extracurricular group is the social skills component.

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
Abstract
Education is often conducted in a traditional way that ignores the individual differences between students and their learning patterns and uses best practices to incorporate technological tools and means on the curriculum in an efficient way. flipped learning is one of the strategies that rely on the use of student education techniques in the learning process, and increases the interaction between teachers and students, and between students themselves. The study aims to design educational units using reverse learning strategy, prepared by the researcher in advance through video lessons according to Susan^s settings for learning patterns and determine their effects on the highest mobility response and scoring accuracy in futsal. The method in this study used experimental methods with procedures using quasi-experiments with the existence of experimental groups and control groups with the research sample was purposively selected from second grade high school students from SMA 1 Tasikmalaya City, West Java. Each group will practice together using the flipped learning method. After that, the program will last for 10 weeks with a total of two units each week. Based on statistical analysis using SPSS, the researcher concluded that the use of the flipped learning approach in the research sample, where each group followed the learning method corresponding to Susan^s case, had a significant role in determining the three best patterns for improving kinetic response speed and scoring accuracy in futsal games.

Abstract
In a learning process the teacher has a predetermined value standard for his students. The results of these values are usually a parameter of student success in learning on cognitive and psychomotor values. However, this does not necessarily guarantee affective values, especially the value of responsibility. The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between the value of physical education knowledge and skills and the responsibilities of elementary school students. This study used a quantitative approach, descriptive method, with survey research categories and fisher exact test analysis. The population in this study were students in the upper group, namely grades 4, 5 and 6. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique. The reason this research was conducted is because responsibility is an attitude that students must have, especially in the implementation of distance learning based on the value it achieves. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between physical education knowledge and the responsibilities of elementary school students. In addition, the results also showed that there was no relationship between physical education skills and the responsibilities of elementary school students.

Abstract
Social skills are an important aspect of education, the world of work, and everyday life, both in personal and professional contexts. Social skills development is becoming an increasingly important focus in education, as it can help students interact with others, build good relationships, as a predictor of academic success, and improve the overall quality of life. However, with the changing social dynamics that occur in the digital era, educators and researchers realize the importance of a valid and reliable instrument to assess and develop social skills not only in primary and secondary school but even for adolescents in college. This article aims to discuss the process of adapting an instrument to assess adolescent social skills in higher education, highlighting the key considerations and steps involved in its development. A total of 118 college students were sampled in this study, with the majority being 65% male, and 35% female with an average age of 18 years. The results of the instrument validity test using Pearson correlation showed that 45 statement items were valid (r count > r table) of 46 statements items. It can be concluded that the Indonesian version of the SSIS-RS instrument has achieved adequate group validity. Cronbach alpha ranged from 0.888-0.893, indicating adequate internal consistency. The Indonesian version of the SSIS-RS instrument is said to be a valid and reliable tool for assessing students^ social skills as well as a predictor of academic success and future success.

Abstract
Positive Youth Development (PYD) is a strengths-based perspective that focuses on building naturally occurring skills and the potential to aid healthy development and adaptive functioning (O^Connor et al., 2020- Lerner et al., 2005). The application of PYD in schools needs to be implemented as an effort to support students to educate students in a positive direction and avoid negative things such as drug addiction, promiscuity and others. In this application, support from the school is needed, namely the school principal, school teachers, and especially the Physical Education teacher. Support or motivation from the school can be one of the things that make it easier to carry out PYD at school.
The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative and narrative literature review. Data collection techniques using library research. Types of data using textual or conceptual. Aspects of analysis include definitions, concepts, views, thoughts and arguments. The data source in this research is secondary data and refers to Positive Youth Development (PYD).
Results of research- the importance of the role of school principals and physical education teachers in implementing PYD in schools, the importance of PYD in directing positive youth to grow life skills through activities that can encourage students to be active in the movement. This is because youth sports, whether organized by PE teachers, youth development workers, coaches and, sports animators, or [police officers, are still defined as important venues for restoring moral values healthy lifestyles and thereby rebuilding communities that are divided and avoiding social exclusion (Hylton & Braham, 2007.)
The conclusion is that PYD activities in schools need to be implemented with support and assistance from the school principal as a policy maker and assisted by physical education teachers in schools so that youth in schools become more guided to become young people who are healthy and have life skills.

Abstract
Most of the research on well-being in education explores the well-being of teachers in general. There is limited research on well-being, including in Indonesia that focuses specifically on physical education teachers. Indeed, physical education teachers experience enormous challenges in teaching. This study aims to examine the effect of psychological capital and social support on the well-being of physical education teachers in Indonesia. This study involved 248 physical education teachers who teach in private and public schools located in urban areas. The sample ratio of males and females is 87.9% and 12.1%, respectively. Well-being is measured using MHC-SF (Mental Health Continuum Short Form (MHC-SF) from Keyes with validity ranging from 0.477 to 0.723 and reliability r=0.899. The psychological capital was assessed using PCQ (Psychological Capital Questionnaire) from Luthan with validity ranging from 0.223 up to 0.49 and reliability r = 0.904. The social support was identified using MSPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support) from Zimmet, with validity ranging from 0.339 to 0.746 and reliability r = 0.885. The results showed that there was an influence of psychological capital on the well-being of physical education teachers (p-value <0.05), as well as the effect of social support on the well-being of physical education teachers (p-value<0.05). The coefficient of determination showed that the well-being of physical education teachers is influenced by 30.9% of psychological capital and social support together- whereas 69.1% is affected by other factors outside of this study. This finding suggests further research to find out other factors that affect the well-being of physical education teachers

Abstract
Talent is a higher capacity possessed by someone and it is genetic in nature which is determined by the environment in the developmental process until it reaches an optimal stage. Finding the talent of a child requires a valid and reliable instrument capable of detecting that talent. This research is the first step in the study of giftedness in children by using SEKORA talent detection instrument: Anthropometric, Physical Performance (PP), and Motor Coordination (MC) variables. Furthermore, through machine learning analysis, it will find children^s giftedness in sports and reveal the differences between students who trained and not in sports club. This study involved 1001 children (boys = 518, girls = 483) in Pekanbaru city in the age of 7-12 years and consisted of two sample groups (trained or not in sports club). The research results provided information based on Anthropometric, PP, and MC variable tests, 31 sports were found that matched these variables. Five sports had the highest level of compatibility with the characteristics of these children, including Rhythmic Gymnastics (total=272- boys=91, girls=181), Golf (total=200- boys=104, girls=96), Horse riding (total=178- boys=98, girls=80), Volleyball (total=80- boys=63, girls=17) and Dance (total=58- boys=9, girls=49). Based on the results, it was also found that there was no difference in Anthropometry between students who trained and not in sport club, it turned out the participation of students in sports clubs had no effect on the Anthropometry variable (p=0.278>0.05). However, student participation in sports clubs affected the PP and MC variables (p=0.000<0.05).

Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of measuring instruments used in testing the vertical jump of volleyball athletes who have completed undergraduate education in the field of sports. a comparative approach is used to compare research data with a sample of 21 people. Data collection was carried out for three days, at 08.30 to be exact, by applying different measurement methods to measure the jump height of the athletes. The data collection procedure was carried out using a one-by-one model. This means that each respondent who has made one jump will change with another respondent until all respondents have the opportunity to make each jump three times. The results of the study show that there is a difference that is not so significant between the jump measurements made with vertec and cronu jumps. Such a different significance can be seen in the results of measurements carried out by wall jump or traditional methods. Apart from that, this study also found that even though cronu jump and vertec are the two devices being analyzed that are proven to provide reliable effectiveness values, the two devices are not interchangeable. Therefore, it is recommended to always use the same type of device to evaluate the vertical jump.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRESIDENTIAL REGULATION ON THE GREAT DESIGN OF NATIONAL SPORTS IN WEST JAVA: ANALYSIS OF THE CONTRIBUTION OF SPORTS LAW TO SPORT DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE (SDP) and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG^s) Abdul Pirman Nugraha, Amung Ma^mun
Program Studi Pendidikan Olahraga, Sekolah Pascasarjana, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
Abstract
This research discusses the implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 86 of 2021 Concerning the Grand Design of National Sports (DBON) in West Java. It analyzes the contribution of Sports Law Number 11 of 2022 to developing sports and peace and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Presidential Regulation on the Grand Design of National Sports (DBON) in West Java and analyze the extent to which the Sports Law contributes to developing sports and peace and achieving the SDG^s goals. The research method used is literature study and policy analysis. Data from the Sports Law, central and regional government policy documents regarding sports development, and other relevant sources are collected. The analysis is carried out by comparing the provisions in the regulations with the principles of developing sports and peace, as well as the SDG^s goals related to sports.
The hypothesis of this study states that the implementation of the Presidential Regulation concerning the Grand Design of National Sports in West Java has less significance in increasing the development of sports and peace. There still needs to be an integration of national sports policy programs with the regions. The Sports Law^s contribution to sports development and peace still needs to be improved. There needs to be more clarity between the provisions in the law and the principles of developing sports and peace and the SDG^s goals.
This research provides insight into the importance of involving Sports Law in implementing national sports policies and creating a framework that supports the development of sustainable and peaceful sport development. This research implies the need to revise and improve existing policies to ensure a more significant contribution to sports development and peace and the achievement of SDG through sports in West Java.
