Abstract

Data security is one important factor that must be considered in the development and development of todays technology. A method that can be used to save and conceal data is needed. The existence of a problem in this case, the cryptographic technique becomes the choice to request file security. Cryptography is the science and art of secrecy of messages by encoding them into forms that cannot be understood anymore. Maintaining the confidentiality of data with cryptography, the simple data sent is converted into password data, then the password data can only be opened with simple data that only uses keys that are needed by legitimate parties. The objectives of cryptography are confidentiality, integrity, authentication and non-repudiation. The process of encoding plaintext into ciphertext is called encryption. While the process begins ciphertext into the original plaintext called decryption. Text files are files that can be private and confidential files, so there is an application file as a tool that can store these private files. Encryption and decryption applications are expected to help in handling the confidentiality of text file formats. The cryptographic algorithm used is the application of the asymmetric cryptographic concept, the Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) algorithm. The RSA algorithm is difficult to solve because it is used exponentially with the generating factor being two different prime numbers. The RSA algorithm has the result of decryption in the form of a ciphertext with a large size, so a compression technique is needed to produce a smaller ciphertext size through the data compression process using the Huffman algorithm. This study combines cryptographic RSA algorithm and Huffman compression algorithm in terms of security and data compression which is built into the application of encryption and decryption of text files.

Courier employees in an expedition company is an important asset for the company. Each Courier has a daily productivity performance to aim with a perfect score (100%) to gain a reward. However, an assessment based only on productivity performance cause problems, where it is impossible to achieve a perfect productivity score to get a reward. This research focus to improve the rewarding system using a decision support system by adding other aspects than productivity which is the behavioral aspect. Absentee, successful delivery, cash on delivery, status update, attendance, and lateness are the behavioral aspect criteria used. Profile Matching method is conducted to compare employee profiles with the standard values and calculate its GAP. The smaller the GAP, the greater the weight results for the best alternative solution. The results, from 150 employees, 5 employees were selected as the best employees and granted rewards with the highest position scored 4,733, second scored 4,725, third scored 4,7234, fourth scored 4,722, and fifth scored 4,721. Profile matching has proven to be excellent as a method for a decision support system to reward employees based on ranking.

Abstract

Currently, hydroponic vegetables have become a trend because of its efficient construction requires a minimum resource management. Determining the correct type of hydroponic vegetable before planting would affect the yield of the vegetables produced. However, the experiments conducted in this research resulted in deadlocks to determine the exact type of vegetable cultivated at the farm where the type of hydroponic vegetable depends on several factors that affect the quality and quantity, size weights, the number of leaves and the weight of plants. A decision support system is applied as a solution to the problem and IoT is performed to gain criteria data input. AHP method is conducted to measure criteria such as raw water PH, PPM of a nutritional solution, air temperature and sunlight illumination intensity and to find alternatives determined namely, lettuce, Pakcoy, Mustard greens, Spinach, Kale, Celery, and Chinese Kale. Results showed that Pakcoy in the first rank with a value of 0.25% and the second is spinach with a value of 0.16%, the Decision support system has proven to determine the type of vegetable on hydroponic vegetables.

Abstract

Regional Development is part of the National Development which is based on the principle of regional autonomy. One of them is advertisement tax, managed and collected by the Regional Government for the benefit of the region itself. The advertisement tax collection in Pangandaran Regency is carried out by the Regional Financial Management and Asset Management Service in Pangandaran Regency, the calculation of which is still manual. In addition, officers do not memorize the standard billboard price tables, so the process in the field takes a long time and is less effective. Therefore an android-based application is made using a system development method using eXtreme Programming (XP) to facilitate officers, especially for employees in the field whose job is to calculate advertisement tax calculation, so that advertisement tax calculation is more effective and accurate.

Abstract

Internship program is a must for every informatics engineering student of State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati. In selection of internship places often does not match with the ability of the students. So, they cant use their ability optimally. It is caused by several factors such as incompatibility of institutions or companies with desired criteria of the majority of departments for the students to perform internship and the assessment process of students internship placements based on subjectivity. By utilizing advances of information technology which is now growing up quickly, building a decision support system application can help the department of informatics engineering in determining the criteria of the institution that will be used for students carrying out the internship. Decision Support System for internship place recommendations using the Simple Additive Weighting method by finding the weighted sum of each alternative on all attributes. It is expected that the system can assist the department in determining the criteria and what institutions are suitable to be used as internship locations. The results of matching criteria with institution data is a values rank, the higher the value gets, the better the places used as recommendation for students carrying out the internship.
