Abstract
Olahraga kini telah mengalami pergeseran paradigma dari pembangunan olahraga (development of sport) menjadi pembangunan melalui olahraga (development through sport).
Salah satu diantara adalah good health and well-being.

Abstract
The main objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the Micro-teaching program in improving the teaching skills of students majoring at PETE for Elementary Schools. The teaching skills of these prospective teachers are developed through the ^teaching and pedagogical skills development^ courses followed by micro-teaching at the same semester. The research was conducted by assigning students taking Micro teaching course which are directed at mastering teaching skills in the class-opening phase, the core learning phase, and the class-closing phase. In addition to the teaching skills, students^ teacher value orientation (TVO) improvement was also measured using the Value Orientation Inventory-Short Form (VOI-SF). VOI consisted of 50 questions divided into 10 question settings in 5 levels of elaboration. The results of the study revealed that teaching skills increased rapidly and there was a change in the value orientation of prospective teachers, from previously oriented toward the Disciplinary Mastery orientation, shifting towards to the Learning Process orientation. However, serious efforts were needed from the PETE for Elementary School program so that these teaching skills could continue to be developed by providing supportive programs, including accommodating changes to the demands of the birth of the Independent Curriculum. This research is also intended to see the influence of an independent curriculum in Physical Education lessons in schools, so that the acquisition of teaching competencies from students can be realized in a more directed and purposeful manner.

Abstract
It is the common goal of school education all over the world to transfer and apply the knowledge and ability learned by students to the ever-changing future society. It is also the key development goal of school physical education at present (A. Gudamu,2021). In 2022, the Curriculum Standard of Physical Education and Health for Compulsory Education was promulgated. In order to improve students^ sports motivation and promote the transfer and application of students^ sports core literacy, many scholars have conducted rich studies on the establishment of teaching objectives from multiple perspectives (Zhao et al., 2022). However, from the perspective of the application of physical education teaching model, there are few empirical studies on the application of students^ sports motivation and ability transfer. Studies have shown that sports education model and TGFU, which can replace the traditional direct physical education model, have a significant positive impact on students^ sports motivation, skills and tactics level and ability transfer application due to their unique teaching model characteristics (Casey,2018- Gil-Arias, 2018). Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the influence of sports education model based on self-determination theory and goal achievement theory and hybrid teaching unit design of TGFU on students^ sports motivation and ability transfer application.

Challenges in Integrating Life Skills for Positive Youth Development: Trends and Agenda for Future Research in Cycling Program Dani Nugraha
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
Abstract
During the pandemic, worldwide, physical activities have become less and limited due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Maintaining physical health among children through physical activities is important. Researchers in health and sport sectors begun to consider sports such as cycling as an option to increase physical activities in children. Besides health benefits, this study argues that by integrating life skills in sports programs such as cycling, youth development can be better shaped into a more positive behavior and better prepared to become a responsible adult. However, the integration of life skills in cycling programs to promote positive youth development (PYD) seems to be overlooked- let alone the challenges. To understand how life skills and PYD can be integrated in cycling programs, it is important to explore the challenges that has been discussed in the literature. This study aims to explore and understand the trends of research in the current literature about life skills and positive youth development in relation to sport education/programs, especially the challenges and in the context of cycling program. This study used systematic literature review approach and collected the data from Web of Science database which were published between 2013-2022. Inclusion and exclusion criteria such as publication year, document type, and research areas are used in this study. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and thematic analysis. The findings show the current trends in the life skills and PYD literature in terms of publication year, publication titles, country of study, methodology, and research areas. Only ten articles intentionally discussed the challenges in integrating life skills and PYD in sports program. Moreover, this study provides the foundation of knowledge and the agenda for future research to conduct a more diverse and comprehensive study in the area of life skills, PYD, and sports programs, especially in relation to cycling programs.

Association between Tennis Training Experience and Executive Function in Children aged 8 to 12 Yue Xu, Anghan Ming, Guoxin Ni
School of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Beijing Sport University, Beijing, China
Abstract
Cognitively engaging activities have been shown to facilitate the improvement of executive functions in children. However, a limited number of studies have investigated the relationship between dose parameters of physical activities and executive functions, and heterogeneity exists. In the present study, we aim to explore the association between tennis training experience and executive functions in children. Sixty children aged 8-12 years were recruited in this study and were allocated to the short-term (ST) group (less than 12 months, n=30) and the long-term (LT) group (more than 12 months, n=30). The abilities of inhibitory control, cognitive flexibility, and working memory were measured by the Stop-signal task, Switching task, and N-back task respectively. There was no significant group difference in either the accuracy or reaction time of the Stop-signal task. No significant difference between groups of the accuracy in the Switching task was observed. However, LT group presented a shorter reaction time than the ST group (731.69±149.23ms vs. 857.15±157.99ms, P<0.01) in the Switching task. Additionally, training experience was positively associated with the reaction time of the Switching task. As for the N-back task, in comparison with the LT group, the ST group showed a longer reaction time (711.37±168.14ms vs. 164.75±635.88ms, P<0.05). Moreover, training experience was also positively associated with the reaction time of the N-back task. But there was no significant group difference in the accuracy of the N-back task. In conclusion, children trained for over one year have better performance in cognitive flexibility and working memory than those trained in less than one year. And tennis experience is positively associated with executive functions.

Basketball Training Frequency Is Associated With Executive Functions In Boys Aged 6 To 8 Years Anghan Ming, Yue Xu, Guoxin Ni
School of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Beijing Sport University, Beijing, China
Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between the frequency of basketball training and executive functions (inhibitory control, working memory, and cognitive flexibility) in boys aged 6 to 8. A total of 40 boys recruited from a local after-school basketball training club were divided into a low-frequency group (once a week) and a high-frequency group (at least twice a week). An additional 20 age-matched boys recruited from a local elementary school were considered as the control group (no training experience). All subjects conducted the Stop-signal task, the N-back task, and the switching task at rest. The mean reaction time and accuracy data obtained from each task were used in statistical analysis. There was no significant group difference in either the accuracy or reaction time of inhibitory control. Meanwhile, no significant difference was found in the reaction time of working memory across groups. However, the high-frequency group exhibited significantly higher accuracy (93.00±4.31%) with regard to working memory than the low frequency group (85.4±6.04%, P<0.001) and the control group (83.73±7.70%, P<0.001), respectively. A positive correlation was also found between the accuracy of working memory and groups. Furthermore, in comparison with the control group, the high frequency group exhibited significantly higher cognitive flexibility accuracy (91.93±7.40 % vs. 85.70±9.75%, P=0.004) and shorter reaction time (934.24±213.02ms vs. 1122.06±299.14ms, P <0.001). There was also a positive correlation between the accuracy of cognitive flexibility and groups. These findings suggest that regular basketball training, especially with higher frequency, is beneficial to working memory and cognitive flexibility in boys aged 6 to 8.

The relationship between motor skills and cognitive skills of international preschool children: A systematic review
Abstract
In order to systematically summarize the current situation and the latest progress of the research on the relationship between preschool children^s motor skills and cognitive skills, the research in this field in the past 10 years was summarized and analyzed by the method of systematic review. A total of 1785 articles were retrieved by searching PubMed and Web of science, and excluded articles were included according to strict criteria, resulting in 21 eligible high-quality articles. A total of 14460 participants were included in the study, which included cross-sectional studies and longitudinal follow-up studies from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland and other countries. In the choice of testing tools, motor skills test includes Sleigh of hand, rough motor skills test tools, for cognitive skills, most of the mixed use of a variety of scales to test. Almost all studies have come to the conclusion that motor skills and cognitive skills are related, only a few studies have found a weak relationship between motor skills and executive function and a negative correlation between unstructured physical activity and working memory. For an explanation of the correlation between the two, it is widely believed that motor skill learning stimulates brain regions associated with cognitive skill development, and that motor stimulation in early childhood helps to create neural networks, it also shows that motor skills with cognitive participation have a certain influence on the development of cognitive skills, compared with physical activities without cognitive skills.

Graduate Work Department, Shenyang Sport University
Abstract
Abstract: Under the background of the bonus points of the physical education reform of the senior high school entrance examination, it is pointed out that the current senior high school entrance examination physical education evaluation system is affected and has disadvantages by the traditional concept of ^physical education^ and the mechanistic thinking method. Therefore, the one-sided bonus points without systematically reforming the current evaluation system will only make the senior high school entrance examination physical education increasingly exam oriented and deviate from the original intention of school physical education, It is considered that the current physical education curriculum concept lead to the mechanized and exam oriented high school entrance examination physical education evaluation system. In view of this, this paper further analyzes the existing problems of the whole school physical education curriculum, and puts forward that school physical education should complete the concept transformation from ^physical education^ to ^Sport^, and establish a sportilized curriculum centered on ^Sport^.
